Growing up and being raised by a single Mom you love and cherish the things you had as a kid, while other kids had a NES I had an Atari 2600 and played it for hours. I got the Atari Flashback 12 Gold as a gift for Christmas, needless to say I absolutely love this console and love the nostalgia this console brings back to me. I was surprised on just how small it is especially when the pics on Amazon make it look like its bigger than it is controls are well built and I never had paddle controllers with my Atari 2600 but they also seem well built as well. When I first powered it up I had to play Pitfall as that is one of my all time favorite Atari games. Love the selection of games except for that weird version of Space Invaders, the version of Space Invaders is not the original Atari version but luckily I discovered that there is a cable you can purchase on Amazon called an OTG cable, which you connect to the back of the console, you connect the power cord to one port on the cable and a USB drive to another port on the cable and with some firmware updates and some software you can add on additional roms you can download and put on a flash drive which gives you tons and tons of games. I never had Demon Attack when I was a kid but now it is also one of my all time favorite Atari games. Now I have all my favorite games that I loved and played as a child. Overall, I'm very impressed by this console other than that weird version of Space Invaders. I wish AtGames could get the licensing for the Atari version of Space Invaders.
