Atari Flashback 12 Gold Console

I got mine as a birthday present was the best gift out of all of them. The excitement I was feeling could hardly be contained. I run and grab an hdmi cord hook it all up have to run and buy batteries and I sit down and none of the controllers seem to work right I get certain things to happen with each one but I tried to play pit fall harry would jump but he wouldn’t run. Seem to have similar issues with each game. So desperately dig bag through the bags to find sender and it wasn’t signed. Made a plea out to all my guest explaining what happen no one came forward as the giver but we did process of elimination and as near as we could tell my grandfather bought it for me and passed away couple days later. No one found a receipt so I got the best all in thrilled can’t wait super excited let down ever 😭

A great way to play most of the games you remember (all of them if you use a USB - see my linked video review below) from the greatest video game system of all time. Can't beat it for the money:

This console is a fantastic way to dive back into classic Atari gems and indulge in some well-deserved nostalgia. The preloaded game selection is excellent, featuring some great titles from the Atari 2600 era. The ability to load additional games made this an easy purchase for me—having instant access to so many classics without the hassle of tracking down individual cartridges is a game-changer. The plug-and-play convenience is definitely the biggest selling point.

Everything has worked flawlessly for me, including the controllers and firmware updates. I’ve had zero issues, and the overall experience has been nothing short of great. If you're looking for a fun and hassle-free way to relive the golden age of Atari, this little unit is a must-have. I’m really glad I picked one up!

the FB12 is a nice product. There are some pro's and cons.

Pro's:
-nice little replica, great details.
-there is a possiblity to add extra games via a OTG cable, thats nice
-the paddles are great (highscores on Super breakout!)
- a lot of great games (incl. Activision games)
-there is a great Atari vibe
-did i already mention the paddles? they are really good.

cons (aka possibilities to improve in future products):
- sometimes the firebutton on the controller is not responding (on games like Enduro and Missile Command there is somtimes no response in the heat of the moment), it's a problem with the emulation because the FB12 controllers just work fine, also when i'm using them with my previous Flashback 8. I guess the FB8 had a different emulator.
- in games the original Atari hardware is not supported (like my atari 2600 joystick from 1985). You can use them in the navigation menus but not during gameplay.
-the controllercables are a bit short, i prefer the wireless one like my FB8
-the controllers are a bit loose, they need to be stiffen up.

But overall its just a great product to have a great (Atari) time.
